Neelum Valley

Lake Saif–Malook
This beauty Kaghan Valley is located at the northern end. It is in the north-east of Mansehra Division of the province Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. Not only the mountains surrounding it make the place appealing, but its reflection in the lake is breathtaking! Summers are a good time to go here using the jeeps. However, in winter, it can take quite long to get here and sometimes the jeeps are not a good option considering slippery paths.
Folklore
The Lake Saiful Muluk is named after a legendary prince. A fairy tale that called Saif-ul-Muluk, written by the Sufipoet Mian Muhammad Bakhsh, talks of the lake. Tells the story of the Prince of Persia named Prince Saiful Malook who fell in love with a fairy princess named Princess Badri-ul-Jamala at the lake.

Swat is famous for peach production mostly grown in the valley bottom plains and accounts for about 80% of the peach production of the country. Mostly marketed in the national markets with a brand name of “Swat Peaches“.

Eat ‘Gyal’ – A Local Hunza Breakfast (7AM)
Gyal
Gyal is a traditional local breakfast food, wheat pan-fried cakes with honey or fruit jam and the local favorite ingredient, apricot oil. The apricot oil creates such a sweet aroma to go with the smoky flavors from the charcoal or wood used in cooking.
There are several different types of gyal, and the thing I love about this dish is how it is so simple and hearty, the perfect combination for a morning cup of buttery hot milk tea.
Local Oats (Muesli)
Honestly this is one of the tastiest breakfast foods ever, and I am not entirely sure I can name all the parts.
Almonds, Walnuts, Brown Flaxseed, and Apricot Seeds, all roasted perfectly and then ground, sprinkled over a combination of barley and a local species of wheat germ. It is heavenly when topped off with a scoop of fresh locally made cream or yogurt and a spoonful of honey.

Deosai
It is known as the ‘land of giants’, this beauty is situated in the Astore District of Gilgit-Baltistan. It is on the boundary of Karakorum and western Himalayas. It is home to various kinds of beautiful flowers, countless species of animal, including the brown bear and snow leopard. It is the highest plateau in the world. So if you wish to see wildlife in Pakistan, this place cannot be missed.

Mohenjo-daro
It is an ancient Indus Valley Civilization city that flourished between 2600 and 1900 BCE. Located in the Larkana district of Sindh, Mohenjo-daro means ‘mound of the dead’. Although no greenery around, this dry landscape is a beauty itself and its history is what makes it

Mazar-e-Quaid
This is the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, founder of Pakistan, located in Karachi, Sindh. It is made of white marble and was designed by architect Yahya Merchants. While on a visit to this beautiful country, one cannot escape without visiting the founder’s grave. It is not only beautiful,
